Rooms and Suites

The Rundlestone Lodge offers 98 guest rooms and suites. Standard rooms face the indoor pool and feature two queen beds, an in-room safe, and windows that do not open. Superior rooms offer exterior views with windows or balcony doors that open and come with options of two queen beds, one king, or a king and queen bed. Two-bedroom suites feature a king and queen bed, full bathroom, mini fridge, and two flat-screen televisions. Loft suites include a king bed, kitchenette, two flat-screen televisions, and mountain views. Premier Loft King Suites with jetted tub provide a full kitchen, gas fireplace, a wraparound balcony with mountain views, and two bathrooms. King Loft Suites with jetted tub offer a king bed, gas burning fireplace, balcony with mountain views, and a two-person jetted tub.

Dining at Patrinos

The lodge is home to Patrinos Family Restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner. There is also breakfast available nearby at the Keg Steakhouse in the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa.

Leisure Facilities

The Rundlestone Lodge features a health club with a 45-foot lap pool and a large whirlpool. A fitness room includes a treadmill, elliptical, exercise bike, and free weights, open from 6 AM to 10:30 PM. Guests can relax in the eight-person hot tub located next to the pool.

Location and Transport

Located in Banff National Park, within the Town of Banff, the Rundlestone Lodge is near St. Paul's Presbyterian Church (1 km), Cave and Basin National Historic Site (3 km), and Lake Minnewanka (2 km). The Calgary Airport (YYC) is the closest airport, approximately a two-hour drive via the TransCanada Highway. The lodge offers complimentary Banff Local Roam bus passes for local transit, including routes to the Banff Gondola and Lake Minnewanka. Services to Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon require extra payment. Complimentary heated underground parking is available.

Hotel Services

The Rundlestone Lodge provides complimentary Wi-Fi, guest computer kiosks, and ski lockers. Laundry is available for guests. Meeting space can accommodate up to 75 people, with electric fireplaces, stone tile walls, and catering services. The hotel is pet-friendly, with a $30 pet fee per pet per night. Pet amenities include a pet bed, water and food bowls, a take-home toy, and treats. Security surveillance is in use, with information used only in the event of unlawful acts. The room was spacious and very clean. the location is accessible (a short walk to downtown). i received complimentary access for bus rides. It was awesome. i appreciated the free bus pass.
I noticed the air conditioning was not very effective. it struggled to keep the room cool enough. This needs attention.

i wasnt happy to see the pool still closed. this was a real disappointment because i really wanted a swim. also, the air conditioning wasnt working as good as i hoped. the room was a bit too warm for me to sleep good.

clara welcomed me. she gave me free transit passes that were good for my entire stay. she upgraded my room to a loft with hot tub. i was impressed. one of the staff saw me on my balcony and brought me two chairs for the deck.
the air conditioning was noisy. i couldn't leave it on. the hotel gave me fans. the fridge didn't work and had to be replaced. the room wasn't very clean.
